I just saw this on tvnewers.com (see below.) I don’t think Tucker gets it. His explanation for why I want to talk to him is not as he tweets.
My posting that has provoked my taking him to the woodshed was NOT about “Mike Tyson’s attack on Sarah Palin.” It is not about Mike Tyson or Sarah Palin — it is about Tucker Carlson and how women are treated (in particular by his website) in non news matters. My posting was about Tucker Carlson and HIS JUDGMENT to post vile violence against a woman by a convicted rapist and pretend it is journalism.
This is also not about the First Amendment – this is about decency and understanding what journalism is.
This is also not about getting hammered by readers and 15 hours later trying to do cover by writing an editorial note on top. We all see through that one.
I hope Tucker understand the issue when he shows up.
