Since October 2001, when we went into Afghanistan,
* how many coalition troops have died?
* how many Afghanistan civilians have died?
Why do I ask?
I want to compare to the almost 50,000 in Mexico who have died since Dec 2006 when President Calderone declared war on the drug cartels.
I am certainly not asserting that Afghanistan is unimportant….but I am suggesting that we are ignoring the explosive crisis next door. I don’t know why the Obama Administration is not more interested or why the media is not more interested.
