This is a thrill for me. I love to be able to help. I only wish I could help everybody.
As you know, I have traveled many places with Reverend Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse. I have seen with my own eyes (and so have you via GretaWire pics) the incredible work Samaritan’s Purse does worldwide — whether it be a refugee camp in South Sudan or a cholera clinic in Haiti ….or even an orphanage in Haiti. I was honored to be able to help a new orphanage in Haiti (after the earthquake killed 300,000 and displaced millions) and it was named after me. From time to time I get wonderful gifts from the orphanage. Today I received a plate and a glass…and right now I wish I were there to help the kids.
By the way, to those of you who wonder if I only help overseas, the answer is no. I know that foreign help is a controversial issue. There is great need here at home and I do charity work at home, too.
