Subject: Fayyad spray: CNN VIP Pool Mitt Romney Trip to London, Israel and Poland
Spray of top of Romney meeting with Palestinian Prime Minister Salam Fayyad.
The two men walked through a door over to two dark leather armchairs in front of an ornate panel. They shook hands. A small vase of white flowers sat on a marble table in front of the chairs.
Romney:
“–going to stand here for a moment. Thank you Mr Prime Minister, I appreciate it.”
Romney:
“I didn’t realize you were in London until you just mentioned it.”
Fayyad:
“Yep!”
Romney:
“What an experience that was.”
Romney (it seemed to me he particularly emphasized the first sentence):
“An entertaining and delightful opening ceremonies. Wasn’t it spectacular? It really was. And the march of nations. There were many participants. And they sent women from every country.”
Fayyad:
“From every country.”
Fayyad answered something about Palestinians and the Olympics but I can’t make it out.
Romney paused, smiled to reporters, they sat down. Pool ushered out.
+Note this was shot at the King David Hotel. The two chairs were set up in the corner of a large room, kind of a makeshift office.
+One of the stills guy’s cell phones was ringing almost the whole time.
+We have dropped tape that will be fed from bureau.
