“Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23″ — is ABC part of a ‘war on women?’ and is there a ‘war on women?’

“Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23″ is a series on ABC.  I don’t know about you….but I think the title is disrespectful of women.  Bitch?  According to Wikipedia:

If we want young people to have respect for others  - women and others  - we could start by setting a good example.  There are millions of titles that ABC could have come up with that did not show disrespect for women and send a lousy message about women.

Frankly, this title (by a major media corporation) is more of an example of a ‘war on women’ than a fight over who pays for contraceptives.  It sends a covert insulting message about women (bitch) week after week to millions. I am not saying there is a war on women – you decide for yourself – but merely pointing something out that may get you talking and thinking.

I am not suggesting ABC not air the series but rather that it come up with a different title (I have not seen the series so I can’t comment on it.)  Hollywood can do better picking a title…will it?
