HANK AARON LOG:
Thank you. Thank you very much for having me
I was honored back in the spring w/ honorary degree
My address I said then, from the heart, although I’m a native Alabama, it was Milwaukee that made me feel at home
Here in the state of WI I found respect, acceptance, appreciation for my talent & a new home
Today I’m happy to be back home.
I learned to never give up my dream – prepared me for such a moment as this
Stand here and ask you to join me in supporting president Obama (applause)
15:58:41 My wife & I here a few weeks ago – back today to join you in support of the president
one of the most touching moments of my life when Barack Obama was elected president of the united states
4 years ago, joined to help make BO our 44th president
50 yrs ago, you had #44 Milwaukee braves
I have humbled and honored to share this stage w/ #44 – Obama
I am proud, and with all our help, he can continue to move our country forward
As someone who wore #44, I am asking you to help Obama hit a grand slam
