*** Yes, I am suspicous – but I have no inside story and no specific facts…this is just my suspicion:
Below is the press release reporting that President Clinton is headed to Iowa to headline for Congressional candidate Christie Vilsack. So what am I suspicious about? It makes me suspicious that Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is gearing up for 2016 run for President and President Clinton is smartly laying the groundwork.
I pay attention to what President Clinton is doing to see if he is going around the USA now collecting political chits for 2016. I pay particular attention to the anticipated 2016 swing states and his trips to those states.
If President Clinton shows up all over Pennsylvania and states such as Florida supporting local (especially Mayors) Democratic candidates in the next few years, you know (or at least can share in my suspicion) that HRC is running for President in 2016.
Iowa is always very important so this trip to Iowa is a good political move.
Yes, it is true that President Clinton is a strong Democrat — but it is also the chatter around political circles that he is not fond of President Obama. So why is he also hitting the trail for Pres Obama? Some are suspicious that it is to make sure he does not alienate any part of the Democratic party for 2016 for HRC.
Note that what mitigates against my suspicion is that President Obama is friends with Governor and Mrs. Vilsack….but…who knows?

President Bill Clinton to headline Value of Common Sense rally in support of Christie Vilsack
AMES, IA – President Bill Clinton will headline the Value of Common Sense rally in support of Christie Vilsack this Friday in Sioux City.
“It’s a privilege to have President Clinton’s support in this election and I look forward to welcoming him to the 4th District,” said Christie Vilsack. “President Clinton knows that creating a strong economy begins with rebuilding the middle class in this country. His common-sense approach is why he was able to balance the budget and create jobs, without telling future generations that they should forget the promise of Medicare or access to education. This is the same kind of leadership I’ll bring to Congress as I fight for the 4th District.”
Doors to the rally will open at 5:00 pm on Friday, October 12th, in Sioux City. The rally is free and open to the public. Those interested in attending should RSVP here or call (515) 233-5858.
Christie Vilsack has built her campaign on a series of common-sense policy proposals, each aimed at creating layers of economic opportunity in the small towns and cities across the 4th District. Vilsack has also made it clear to voters that she will work with members on both sides of the aisle to create this opportunity and grow the middle class.
President Clinton’s visit comes as national observers continue to show the 4th District race as one of the most competitive in the country and recent polls show a statistical dead-heat between the candidates.
