I just spoke to Senator Lindsey Graham who has been in communication with Tunisian representatives since learning last night that the Obama Administration says Tunisia will not let us talk to their national who was seen on videotape at our Consulate in Benghazi during the September 11 attack.
Tunisian representatives told Senator Graham that US representatives may submit written questions and they will ask the man in their custody but no in person USA questioning of the man.
Submission of written questions is not satisfactory to Senator Graham and he is continuing to push for a US direct, in person, questioning of the man.
I said I was surprised that Tunisia would hold us off since the USA has done much for Tunisia and Senator Graham agreed but added that he did not think the Obama Administration was aggressive in pursuing the in person interview.
Tweet @GretaWire if you want Senator Lindsey Graham to keep pushing for in person access to this man in Tunisia who was seen on videotape at the scene of the attack on our Consulate in Benghazi.
