Former AP reporter stationed in Haiti releases book 3 years after deadly earthquake

Three years after an earthquake devastated Haiti, former AP reporter and editor Jonathan M. Katz is out with a book titled “The Big Truck That Went By: How the World Came to Save Haiti and Left Behind a Disaster.” Katz was the only full-time American news correspondent in Haiti during the January 2010 earthquake that killed more than 300,000 people. He survived the earthquake and stayed in Haiti to report on the aftermath and recovery effort.
