Indiana police officer faces jail time after rescuing injured deer


When Connersville, Ind. police officer Jeff Counceller and his wife Jennifer encountered an injured deer on their front porch, they took her in and nursed her back to health. Now the couple is facing charges of harboring a wild animal, which could result in jail time if convicted. Nearly 22,000 people have joined a Facebook petition group fighting to get the charges dropped.
