Explain this: (I assume I must have this wrong?)
FIRST: sequester does NOT mean CUT — it means SLOWED GROWTH IN SPENDING. We will have the SAME AMOUNT of SPENDING PLUS MORE with or without sequester.
SECOND: assume every month the Treasury puts a certain sum of money into the TSA bank account to pay all TSA people. If sequester goes through, the Treasury will STILL be putting that same money into the TSA bank account plus more (just not as much more if there were no sequester.)
THIRD: if TSA is getting the same amount of money (plus more) on March 1 with sequester, why do some people have to be laid off or furloughed? They are getting the same amount of money plus more.
