Can you answer the question in the headline above? Below are time stamps from yesterday and how many times Senator Rand Paul asked the same question. There were more statements from Senator Rand Paul throughout the day but my point is this: it was clear what he wanted to know and it was early on in the day that he made it known.)
A/G Holder waited until today and frankly, I thought his “it has come to my attention” to be snarky and petty. He knew this filibuster was going on yesterday. I hate to see him be petty and snarky — especially when the underlying issue is about killing Americans without due process! (We don’t even put people in jail for stealing from a grocery store without a trial!) (Scroll down to see the letter from the A/G to Senator Rand Paul that arrived today at the Senator’s office.)

11:49:39 when i asked the president, can you kill an american on american soil, it should have been an easy answer.
11:53:28 i will speak today until the president responds and says no, we won’t kill americans in cafes;
11:55:05 mr. president. come clean, come forward and say you will not kill americans on american soil.
12:07:20 reason the administration didn’t want to answer yes or no to this question of can you kill americans on american soil is because he says that a no answer would jeopardize the critical theoretical foundation that they have very carefully constructed that says there are no cognizable constraints on how u.s. government power can be asserted.
12:51:42 so when we asked the president, can you kill americans on american soil with your drone strikes, which is part of the military, it should be an easy answer.
