The President has the right to name who he wants for National Security Adviser. The appointment does not need any confirmation by the US Senate. I hope Ambassador Susan Rice does a good job as National Security Advisor — her performance in Benghazi was poor.
With Benghazi, Ambassador Rice let down the American people by never challenging the information she was given and which she just simply spread across 5 Sunday morning show. Apparently she just did what she was told. That is lousy. We don’t need a robot as National Security Adviser. We need a National Security Adviser who has the stamina to ASK questions and the courage to challenge what she is told. I hope she now understands that and can do it. National Security Adviser is not a job for an amateur.
