(See pics at bottom!)
You know how evil President Bashir of Sudan is! (You also know I hate him and he hates me. I have posted what he said about me right here on GretaWire and I am delighted he hates me. I would be ashamed if he liked me.)
Bashir is killing his own people – bombing them and starving them. You have seen the pics right here on GretaWire. Bashir is under indictment at the International Criminal Court for genocide and much more. This is our chance to be heard — make sure you get involved in this Twitter Town Hall (see below.)
Tell her to help the people of Nuba Mountains!
Please flood #WhatMatters – tweet often and get others to do so, too. We need her attention to this crisis. We can’t look the other way while this cruel man kills more innocent children and their parents. PLEASE HELP!
Media Advisory: Ambassador Power to Host a Twitter Town Hall with the Public on August 15, 2013 at 3:00 pm EDT.
United States Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power will host a Twitter Town Hall this Thursday, August 15 at 3:00 pm EDT. From her @AmbassadorPower Twitter account, the Ambassador will respond to tweets and questions that use the hashtag #WhatMatters, originally introduced in her August 10th speech at the Fourth Estate Leadership Summit in Los Angeles. Members of the public are invited to submit ideas from now until Thursday’s Twitter Town Hall on how Ambassador Power and the U.S. Mission can best continue to promote American values, human rights and human dignity by using the hashtag #WhatMatters on Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
Ambassador Power is committed to engaging members of the public on issues of importance to them and on what they want the United States to stand for in the world. By broadening the foreign policy conversation, the Ambassador seeks to advance the United States’ work at the United Nations and amplify the voices of citizen activists across the world.
For questions or additional information, please contact Anthony Deaton at the United States Mission to the UN at DeatonAA@state.gov. Follow @AmbassadorPower and @USUN for updates.
That stuff around this child’s mouth is from malnutrition – shows the face decaying. The child was hungry…living in a cave while Bashir bombed overhead.
