I am so lucky….my husband and I are going to Alaska for a few days to help! It is so much fun to help and to make new friends – especially wounded troops and their spouses. (By the way, the woman on the left side of this first pic is Reverend Graham’s wife Jane…and she is so so so so fun! You would LOVE her!)
As you know, not all our troops come home healthy – mentally, physically or spiritually. It is very difficult for some.
Reverend Franklin Graham and Samaritan’s Purse and many volunteers are, as always, helping. They never stop pitching in to help whether it be Haiti, Sudan etc. — or our wounded warriors. Reverend Graham and Samaritan’s Puse have week long programs in Alaska (link below to read more about it) for our military couples who are having a more difficult time.
To the extent that I can be part of Samaritan’s Purse’s helping, I want to be.
Here is a tease of how I am spending my 3 day weekend: (I will get back just in time for Monday night’s ON THE RECORD at 10pm!)
