President Obama to Travel to New York, NY


Washington, DC – On Monday, September 23, the President will travel to New York, NY for the United National General Assembly and Clinton Global Initiative. He will return to Washington, DC on Tuesday, September 24.


On Monday, the President will meet with fellow world leaders and representatives of civil society. On Tuesday, the President will attend the United Nations General Assembly and visit the Clinton Global Initiative where he and President Clinton will engage in a conversation about the benefits and future of health care reform in America, and access to quality health care around the globe.


Please note: Clinton Global Initiative will handle all media credentialing of for its event. If you are registered for the Trip of the President to New York, NY for UNGA through the White House Travel Office, CGI credentials will be applied for on your behalf.


The President will also attend a DNC fundraiser before returning to Washington, DC.


The arrival and departure of Air Force One at John F. Kennedy Airport are closed to the public but open to pre-credentialed media.
