We have all seen or heard about the dud Obamacare enrollment website…but is it the tip of the iceberg? And is what is below the surface more of a problem? Read on….
Here is my question….
Attached to Obamacare is ‘income verification’ requirement to determine whether someone is entitled to a Federal subsidy (by other taxpayers, of course.) We want to make sure that those entitled to subsidies get them and we want to make sure that those who are not, do not get them. We want to make sure there is no fraud. The fraud could be catastrophic.
So how is income verification determined? Computer programs.
Oh Oh….if the computer programs set up by Obamacare can’t get even enrollment straight — how can we have any confidence that the income verification won’t be a mess? and catastrophic? And how come no one else is focused on this NOW?
You tell me what you think…
PS this is one of those issues where I hope my suspicions are wrong, dead wrong, since this could be a far bigger mess than an enrollment computer program.
