This (below) is the first note I got about Louis (for about 24 hours his name was Puff….but tonight I got an email that his name is now Louis.)  I got the note below last night.   When you read the note below, you will know why I love Pet Connect Rescue (and why I just moments ago donated more money to them.)  Pet Connect Rescue picked Louis up on Friday and already a family is fostering him.  The family sent me the note below.

“Right now we are calling him Puff, as in little cream Puff, but we are trying to come up with a better suited name! He was found matted, shivering and starved in that snow storm two weeks ago in West Virginia.

Spent two weeks in the shelter and no one came for him. His euthanasia date was yesterday so we pulled him just in time. Honestly he is the sweetest and most affectionate little guy ever. The vet thinks he is between 1 and 3 years old. I don’t think he’s ever lived inside a house and he seems so grateful for everything . He is our first foster in a long time and we are totally smitten. Right now he is snuggled up next to me- he just wants so much to be loved….”

What is so great about donations to Pet Connect Rescue is that 100% of your donation goes to the animals as the workers are all volunteers.

PS – Louis came in matted and look how handsome he looks now!  Looks like he has been to the beauty parlor!
