If I were President … (and of course I am not)

I would have someone track down who made that snarky remark about President Bush 43 (see prior posting / tweet ) and

1/ then personally dress him (her) down and

2/ make the person call and apologize to President Bush 43.

At such important times in history, and with the seriousness of what is happening, the President does not need his advisors acting snarky towards former Presidents.

What President Bush said about Putin was surprising to me at the time…and remains so…but what staffers need to know is that they work for the President of the United States and represent him. They should not be out running their mouths at important times like now.

A big problem in DC is that staffers – including on Capitol Hill – often mistakenly get full of themselves and think they are the Senator or the Member of the House.
