BIG CHANGES on CAPITOL HILL — click to read

U.S. Capitol

Note below from FNC Chad Pergram:

And it is important to note that there are now a staggering EIGHT total committee chairs in both bodies who are retiring..

Four in the House. Four in the Senate.

Why? Some are term-limited. Some frankly don’t think this place is very fun any more because they can’t get things done.

They are:

House:

Ways and Means: Dave Camp (R-MI)

Intelligence: Mike Rogers (R-MI)

Natural Resources: Doc Hastings (R-WA)

Armed Services: Buck McKeon (R-CA)

Senate:

Armed Services: Carl Levin (D-MI)

HELP: Tom Harkin (D-IA)

Commerce: Jay Rockefeller (D-WV)

Banking: Tim Johnson (D-SD)

And this does not include former Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-MT) who left early and is now U.S. Ambassador to China.
