A humanitarian crisis is not like naming a new Post Office. A Post Office can wait – but a humanitarian crisis? That is suffering! You handle that immediately.
The last thing I would do is turn my back at a humanitarian crisis that I was responsible for causing, in part, and also responsible to help solve. How about you?
All the politicians — from President Obama to the Senate to the House — talk about what is going on with the children and act like they give a damn….and then they walk away, not solving it. How do they do that? That’s cold! It is so indecent! Obviously they don’t care. It is their COLLECTIVE responsibility to deal with this and they just blame each other. It is sickening.
And what are the politicians doing instead of their jobs? Either vacationing or trying to hustle you for a vote. I think that is just incredible.
I know one House Member or one Senator can’t do it alone — but if even one stayed back in DC to make a point, I would admire that politician.
