What will it take? ISIS is cruel and violent and must be eliminated. We did a SPECIAL last Friday night about the persecution that is going on in the world – it is vast and unchecked. Why are more nations not joining together to fight this savage behavior?
I was even astounded that a New York Times reporter Jeremy Peters was snarky about our special in a tweet (scroll back.) I don’t mind the snark but instead was stunned that people are indifferent to the cruelty and barbaric behavior. I wondered why – too young never traveled and thus has never seen this suffering of places like refugee camps? or just too used to hearing about violent behavior that it doesn’t impact him? Is that the way nations feel about violence? that they are indifferent because they are so accustomed to it? Is there just so much barbaric behavior that people don’t get enraged?
