Answer this: how long does it take for people to realize someone can’t do the job? is one year enough? 2 years? and how come some people towards the top of big corporations who fail dreadfully (especially the braggerts!) get big payouts as they get pushed out the door, not because of success, but because of their failure?

Why is this a problem?  It should matter to the shareholders in a publicly held company (they have reduced profits with failure of a corporation and they also pay the freight of golden parachutes) but more importantly, it has an impact on the many in a corporation who work so hard for the success of a business and who take pride in their business.   It is unfair to those who work there.

It is better to reward success and not the other.
