Remember the House Stenographer who created the disturbance on the House Floor during the vote to re-open the government and raise the debt ceiling (Oct 17)? She says she did not lose her mind or have a breakdown — see this video

Here are some notes from FNC’s Chad Pergram who sent me the video:

Fox Exclusive: Fmr Hse Stenographer: “I did not lose my mind. I did not have a breakdown…”

Per Pergram-Capitol Hill

For the first time since the disturbance on the floor of the House during the vote to re-open the government and raise the debt ceiling on October 17, we hear from former House Stenographer Dianne Reidy (REE-dee).

Fox has obtained a YouTube video of Reidy and her husband Dan where she explains what went down last fall when she seized the microphone at the Reading Clerk’s lectern on the dais on the House chamber and ranted about God. Reidy says that the spirit of the Lord spoke through her, telling her in advance that she was going to speak somewhere in the House chamber during the big vote.

Reidy was removed from the chamber and was later fired by the House.

Reidy has not spoken publicly about this episode. She was scheduled to do an interview with me two weeks later after the incident at her house in suburban Maryland and abruptly cancelled less than two hours before the session.
