Arrival in Tokyo

 

Air Force Two landed at Haneda Airport at 10:49 PM, local time, 8:49 AM

EST, the first stop of Vice President Joe Biden’s three-country visit to

Asia.

 

The temperature is a balmy 51 degrees, Fahrenheit.

 

VPOTUS was greeted at the bottom of the staircase by Ambassador Caroline

Kennedy, who is in the third week of her posting as American envoy to

Japan.
