President Obama meeting with health insurance executives

From the WH Press Pool:

Pool was ushered into the Roosevelt Room at about 3:30 p.m. We were inside the room for only about two minutes.

POTUS was sitting at the long oval table in the middle, surrounded by industry and administrative officials.

Seated on either side of him were Marilyn Tavenner, administrator for  the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, and Chief of Staff Denis McDonough.

We have not been given names of the industry officials.

No news.

“I appreciate all these folks coming in,” POTUS said. “We’re going to be soliciting ideas from them. This is going to be a collaborative process. We want to make we get this done so in the years to come that every American is going to have the kind of affordable health care they all deserve.”
